Hi,

I've started work on a new project called MuCats. It is similar to a torrent site, except it's for MuWire hashes. You can find the source code at http://git.idk.i2p/zlatinb/mucats

What's different about this site is that you do not create an account; if you have MuWire you already have an account automatically. To log in, you need to have a recent version of the MuWire desktop client or plugin.

===========
To log in with the desktop MuWire client:
1. Copy your full MuWire ID by pressing the "Copy Full" button in the bottom left
2. Paste that into the login form on the MuCats site
3. The MuCats site will print out a challenge, which is a long gibberish string. Copy that.
4. Go to Tools->Sign Tool and paste the challenge in the top text area. Click on "Sign" then click on "Copy To Clipboard"
5. Paste the response, which is also a gibberish string into the login form in the MuCats site.
6. That's it! You're logged in.
===========
To log in with the plugin:
1. Go to the "About Me" page, which is usually at http://127.0.0.1:7657/MuWire/AboutMe
2. Click on the "Copy to clipboard" link under your full MuWire ID
3. Paste that into the login form on the MuCats site
4. The MuCats site will print out a challenge, which is a long gibberish string. Copy that.
5. Paste it into the bottom text area of the About Me page (the one called "Sign Tool")
6. Click on "Sign". A long gibberish string will appear in a blue box. Copy that and paste it in the login form in the MuCats site.
7. That's it! You're logged in.
===========

The site is very much under construction - it doesn't look pretty but the basic functionality is there. You can reach it at the following URL:

As I work on the site I will be adding features continuously. That means that it's possible the database may have to get nuked, although that's unlikely.

Please exercise good judgement with what you publish on the site. I reserve the right to delete any publication or comment, or to lock anyone's account at my discretion.

Thanks
zab
